Hope you are feeling better!
Today we: finished The Awakening symbols chart, discussed Edna's suicide, and got new AP words. (I'm going to give your words to the class tomorrow). Remind me to give you the Awakening assignment, too.
Tomorrow is a timed write!! And, for the remainder of the week (Wendesday on) bring your independent novel, as I will be giving class time to read.
Alright, doesn't sound like I missed too much. Thank you!
Oh, and we also had a class dodgeball game, guys vs. girls, in the spirit of Kate Chopin's "The Awakening". Know how the game ended? The girls all quit. Just like Edna.
