We will finish up with the Metamorphosis! Sorry we didn't get to that today, but I thought we were having a good discussion about writing, so I let it go. We are having a mini-Socratic seminar.

Don't forget to bring either your independent read or How to Read Literature like a Professor. You will get reading time!

Say a positive mantra in your head about tomorrow's timed write before you go to sleep tonight. Let's see what positive thinking can do. Be serious, pick a mantra that is attainable (not "I will get a 9, I will get a 9" but something more realistic like "I will write with coherence" or something), and maybe you will be more at ease tomorrow during the timed write.
