Definition: a joyous song or hymn of praise

Origin: Greek god Proteus who was known to have the ability to change his shape.
Meaning: somone or something that easily adapts to different situations by changing its shape

Origin: from the greek tale of a beautiful mortal woman who marries aphrodites son eros but suffers aphrodites many tasks to be with him and gain immortality
