Abeyance is Anglo-French in origin and comes from the word abeiance, which means "suspension". It was also later used in English law to mean "condition of property temporarily without an owner" in 1660.

Capricious: comes from French who got it from the Italian word "capriccio" which means " a shivering, a shudder." also originates from Italian "capra" meaning "head" and "riccio" meaning "hedgehog."
