I found a patient to shaddow!
Im really excited an a little nervous..
I was wondering if you had any suggestions of what i should ask questions on.
I am planning to ask her what her emotions are while her treatment goes on and how it affects her life.
should i ask anything else?
Random stuff
Don't forget to write your thank-you card to the person you interviewed. If you have any questions, ask me via the blog. You need to either hand deliver it or mail it. (Get a stamp from your folks or bring me the $ and I'll get one for you). Remember to make a copy of the card! It goes in your portfolio!
Good luck writing your Shakespearean Sonnet over the weekend! I can't wait to hear them!
Have a nice, relaxing break and come back ready to read some Anglo-Saxon literature! Yes!
Remember to email me if you want your paper or final 9 weeks grade!

Chill Pills!!!
SORRY!
I will answer all questions in the comments section of each.
May, thanks for the beautiful picture!
For tomorrow: dress up, typed speech transcript, half sheet with signatures (yes, I will be one), your visual, and note cards!
Practice, practice, practice.
Good luck! You all will be fine! Get some rest and eat breakfast tomorrow morning!
speech.....
Ever since class today, you have me very worried. There is no way that I can only look at my notecards three times tomorrow. I need them to make sure that I stay on track. However, I am worried that it will be a significant amount of points off if I use them as a guide like last time. How many points will be off??? All i have to say is that Obama cant make a speech without a teleprompter, so we should be able to use our notecards if it too looks presentable........ NO DIG intended. Im just simply stating that, like Obama, who has much more public speaking background, ( or does he), I need the guidance of my notecards.... and only three glances could be detrimental for my speech...........
THOUGHTS????? How much will it be counted off???
Also, I was just clarifying that I could use you as a person to whom I practiced my speech with from last week right?? Will you sign it tomorrow?
Mrs. Moon I'm freaking out.
Speech transcript!!

Grading Papers...
They won't be all finished by tomorrow, but probably Wednesday. I know you all are chomping at the bit, but each paper takes me around 45 minutes to grade! Have patience with your old English teacher! :)

For tomorrow, please have all of your homework completed. You will be missing out on a great discussion and won't get participation points. Please have your Frankenstein questions either typed (with space in between) or NEATLY written (also with space in between).
Be ready to discuss human cloning...I can't wait to hear your opinions and references to the article!
We will be reviewing for our Frankenstein test tomorrow, too. Please bring any questions/issues/concerns you have about the text. We'll play a fun game, too! We are not having a quote test. I dedided on a traditional test (as I have research papers to grade).
Tomorrow will also include an advisor log and product log check. Sorry we ran out of time today.
I will also give you time (hopefully) to work on your mid-term speech. Remember that Julian, Sarah, Madison, Kathryn, and Melanie present Wednesday. If you are not prepared, you will receive a 0 and will have to reschedule and will be in big trouble! We will also sign up for times for you to come in and watch your video with me.
Two 100s on the vocab quiz today. Any guesses who they are?
Have a great night!

I wonder how late the latest post will be tonight... (Last year the winner was Kory R. with a posting at 1:50 am. Hopefully, you all will be sleeping peacefully at that time).
Good luck!

If you want to look at my old (good) protfolios, they are on the back shelf under the construction paper (on the 3rd shelf), in white binders (that aren't labeled). Look at them for analysis, the graph/chart, or outlines. Anna Orlando's and Carol Brock's are great!
Here is your riddle for the day:

Happy World Vegetarian Day!
I can sizzle like bacon; I am made with an egg; I have plenty of backbone, but lack a good leg.
I peel layers like onions, but still remain whole. I can be long, like a flagpole, yet fit in a hole.
What am I?
If you are the first person to tell me the answer tomorrow, you get 5 points on your vocab quiz on Monday.
